The Veldt

     George is a father in a short novel which is talking about a high techology house with a family. He built a house on grassland. This house is very smart that can help parents to take care their children very well. For example, children can get a nice shower from house technology. When parents are too busy to make meal for their son and dauther, the house can help them to make a good meal for children. They also can go travel by using house technology such as they came to Africa before. Although this technology is benefical for their family, it still harmful for children in some filed. Children cannot know the real world and have many time stay with their parents. Dut to the house will give children everything, parents are focus on their work. That caused parents and children cannot commuitate a lot. They may argue with each other frequentlly. At the end of novel, the children call some lions to killed his father and mother. I was so surprised about this end. How can children kill their parents? In my opinion, i do not think this technology is good for a family. As i mentioned before, parents and children cannot get a talk in order to share their story. Parents have responsbility to take care their son and dauther instead of a machine.
